Hi, I am Amanda Gibbons!
I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW-C) dedicated to helping individuals and families navigate life's challenges with compassion and evidence-based care. I am trained in EMDR, CBT, family systems and grief therapy; and Certified in perinatal mental health (PMH-C) through Postpartum Support International. My approach is both person-centered and family-centered, focusing on creating a safe, supportive space tailored to your unique needs.
I particularly enjoy working with teenagers, young adults, adults, and parents, meeting each person where they are on their journey. Together, we address challenges such as trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, and life transitions, with the goal of fostering healing and growth.
Outside of my work as a therapist, I find joy in spending time outdoors, whether hiking through nature trails, fishing by a quiet stream, or simply appreciating the peace and beauty of the natural world. These experiences ground me and remind me of the resilience and strength that we all carry within us.
